AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA ABA APLICADA NA APRENDIZAGEM DE CRIANÇAS AUTISTAS

A Análise do Comportamento Aplicada (ABA) tem sido fundamental no processo de desenvolvimento de crianças autistas, pois é uma terapia que visa melhorar a qualidade de vida dessas crianças através do ensino de novas habilidades e da modificação de comportamentos, trabalhando no reforço dos comportamentos positivos. Diante disso, o objetivo desse artigo consiste em analisar o comportamento da criança autista no processo de aprendizagem, promovendo assim um conhecimento mais profundo sobre o tema em suas principais características, para tanto tem-se o seguinte questionamento: quais as contribuições da terapia ABA no processo de aprendizagem de crianças autistas? Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza bibliográfica cujo cunho é qualitativo, apoiada em autores que abordam sobre o tema, publicados em periódicos que debatem tal assunto em questão, tendo como base de dados de pesquisa o Google Acadêmico, no período compreendido entre 2020 a 2024. Como amostra obteve-se 5 estudos para a realização da análise. Os resultados apresentaram deduções positivas com relação à relevância da ABA e a possibilidade do desenvolvimento de mais habilidades cognitivas, comportamentais e sociais, a partir do diagnóstico e intervenção precoce. Considera- se que o método ABA é relevante, isto é, através da confiança, validação e a presença de resultados positivos, assim como os dados apresentados por pesquisadores trazidos nos resultados desse artigo, a técnica em questão auxilia na ampliação dos horizontes cognitivos que pertencem e executam as funções do neurodesenvolvimento cognitivo de crianças que possuem o diagnóstico de TEA.

  • Abstract: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been fundamental in the development process of autistic children, as it is a therapy that aims to improve the quality of life of these children through the teaching of new skills and behavior modification, working on the reinforcement of positive behaviors. In view of this, the objective of this article is to analyze the behavior of autistic children in the learning process, thus promoting a deeper knowledge about the subject in its main characteristics, for which the following question arises: what are the contributions of ABA therapy in the learning process of autistic children? This is a bibliographic research whose nature is qualitative, supported by authors who address the subject, published in journals that debate this subject in question, using Google Scholar as a search database, in the period between 2020 and 2024. As a sample, 5 studies were obtained for the analysis. The results showed positive deductions regarding the relevance of ABA and the possibility of developing more cognitive, behavioral and social skills, based on early diagnosis and intervention. It is considered that the ABA method is relevant, that is, through confidence, validation and the presence of positive results, as well as the data presented by researchers brought in the results of this article, the technique in question helps to broaden the cognitive horizons that belong to and perform the functions of cognitive neurodevelopment in children who have a diagnosis of ASD.
