AS CONSEQUÊNCIAS DA MODERNIDADE: OS “LÍQUIDOS” E A SOCIEDADE DE CONSUMIDORES
A contemporaneidade é
marcada pelas transformações no campo
das relações sociais. Envoltos em uma
sociedade caracterizada pela suspensão
do autoquestionamento e o consequente
impedimento da consciência da autonomia, o
indivíduo da era moderna é submetido à metáfora
da fluidez (BAUMAN, 2001). Diante desta
perspectiva, a presente discussão tem como
o intuito analisar o âmbito social com relação
às mudanças contemporâneas e a necessária
reconfiguração de diversas instâncias, através
da contribuição das Ciências Sociais. Ressaltase,
portanto, que o estudo aqui proposto se dá
em função da existência de uma sociedade que
apresenta profundas mudanças e uma espécie
de mal-estar contemporâneo – e é sobre esta
que o texto se ocupará.

Abstract:
The contemporaneity is marked
by the transformations in the field of social
relations. Wrapped in a society characterized
by the suspension of self-questioning and
the consequent impediment of autonomy
awareness, the individual of the modern era is
subjected to the metaphor of fluidity (BAUMAN,
2001). Given this perspective, this discussion
aims to analyze the social scope in relation
to contemporary changes and the necessary
reconfiguration of various instances, through the
contribution of Social Sciences. It is noteworthy,
therefore, that the study proposed here is due
to the existence of a society that has profound
changes and a kind of contemporary malaise -
and this is where the text will be concerned.
