AS CIÊNCIAS SOCIOLÓGICA E HISTÓRICA: UMA RELAÇÃO DE INTERDISCIPLINARIDADE ESTRUTURAL
O objetivo do ensaio é estimular a crítica sociológica e histórica, defendendo a tese que há uma relação de interdisciplinaridade estrutural entre a Sociologia e a História. Para fazer confluir essas abordagens científicas cunhamos o termo conhecimento socio-hisórico. Com isso queremos afirmar que essas ciências não sobrevivem sem uma à outra, se o viés do pesquisador se pautar pela busca incessante da verdade numa perspectiva dialética processual, em que essa utopia não existe oculta, pronta ou acabada, mas devém, como razão de ser da ciência enquanto forma distintiva de conhecimento. Inicialmente envidamos esforços para elevar o termo “conhecimento socio-histórico” ao estatuto de conceito científico, como categoria analítica útil para a análise do caminhar da humanidade e das transformações e manutenções societárias. Trata-se de uma discussão epistemológica no sentido de fundamentar o conceito precisando o seu significado, potencialidades e limitações. Em seguida resgatamos uma discussão cara à História e à Sociologia, que se refere ao conceito de estrutura social e sua dinâmica para a compreensão do desenvolvimento do processo socio-histórico, fazendo uso de autores consagrados ao nível nacional e internacional. Em conclusão reafirmamos como teses as assertivas que desenvolvemos ao longo do artigo, fornecendo pistas e fontes para a continuidade das investigações. Urge que, dentre outros, conceitos como formação social, modo de produção e bloco histórico tenham a sua discussão e compreensão resgatadas na atual conjuntura, pois são fundamentais para a continuidade do desenvolvimento e aplicação da ideia de estrutura social na busca de uma compreensão processual de uma lógica do processo socio-histórico.

Abstract:
The objective of the essay is to stimulate sociological and historical criticism, defending the thesis that there is a structural interdisciplinary relationship between Sociology and History. To bring these scientific approaches together, we coined the term socio-historical knowledge. With this we want to affirm that these sciences cannot survive without each other, if the researcher's bias is guided by the incessant search for truth in a procedural dialectical perspective, in which this utopia does not exist hidden, ready or finished, but must, as a reason for being of science as a distinctive form of knowledge. Initially, we made efforts to raise the term “socio-historical knowledge” to the status of a scientific concept, as a useful analytical category for the analysis of humanity's progress and of societal transformations and maintenance. It is an epistemological discussion, in the sense of substantiating the concept, specifying its meaning, potentialities and limitations. Then we rescued a discussion dear to History and Sociology, which refers to the concept of social structure and its dynamics for the understanding of the socio-historical process, making use of renowned authors at national and international level. In conclusion, we reaffirm as theses the assertions that we developed throughout the article, providing clues and sources for the continuation of the investigations. It is urgent that, among others, concepts such as social formation, mode of production and historical block have their discussion and understanding recovered in the current conjuncture, as they are fundamental for the further development and application of the idea of social structure in the search for a procedural understanding of logic of the socio-historical process.
