As barracas da Praia do Futuro e a relação entre patrimônio cultural e turismo em Fortaleza – Ceará – Brasil
Fortaleza é uma metrópole localizada
no nordeste brasileiro, que destaca-se pelas
práticas de atividades de lazer e turismo. No
litoral leste estão alocadas as barracas da
Praia do Futuro que são bares e restaurantes
que se constituem em expressões espaciais
da história social e em patrimônio cultural de
Fortaleza. O patrimônio cultural representa
uma identidade territorial, que diferencia essa
porção do território das demais partes que o
constituem. Este trabalho objetiva compreender
a relação entre as barracas de Praia, enquanto
patrimônio cultural e a prática do turismo em
Fortaleza. Utilizou-se do método dialético que
busca compreender conflitos e contradições da
realidade em análise. Com o propósito de ir além
dos aspectos aparentes para entendimento da
essência do fenômeno. Está respaldado na
revisão bibliográfica, fundamental a teorização
do empírico, na pesquisa hemerográfica,
institucional e atividades de campo. A partir
da realização desse estudo verificou-se que
Fortaleza tem o turismo como relevante
atividade econômica, que influencia a dinâmica
urbana. As barracas fazem parte do patrimônio
cultural da Metrópole, e compõem a memória
coletiva dos indivíduos que buscam práticas
de lazer usufruindo do mar como principal
elemento natural.

Abstract:
Fortaleza is a metropolis located
in northeastern Brazil, which stands out for
the practices of leisure and tourism activities.
On the east coast are the tents of Praia do
Futuro, bars and restaurants that constitute
spatial expressions of social history and
cultural heritage of Fortaleza. The cultural
heritage represents a territorial identity, which
differentiates this part of the territory from the
other parts that constitute it. This work aims to
understand the relationship between the beach
huts, as cultural heritage and the practice of
tourism in Fortaleza. It was used the dialectical
method that seeks to understand conflicts and
contradictions of reality under analysis. With the
purpose of going beyond the apparent aspects to
understanding the essence of the phenomenon.
It is supported in the bibliographical revision,
fundamental theorization of the empirical, in the
hemerographic research, institutional and field
activities. From the realization of this study, it
was verified that Fortaleza has tourism as a relevant economic activity, which influences the urban dynamics. The tents are part of
the cultural heritage of the Metropolis, and make up the collective memory of individuals
who seek leisure practices enjoying the sea as the main natural element.
