AS AVALIAÇÕES EXTERNAS DE MATEMÁTICA NOS ANOS FINAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL: OS RESULTADOS DAS ESCOLAS DA ZONA DA MATA MINEIRA

Este trabalho apresenta dados de

um estudo que foi desenvolvido na Universidade

Federal de Viçosa, no qual foram analisados

os resultados das avaliações externas de

Matemática das escolas públicas que oferecem

os anos finais do Ensino Fundamental II,

nas cidades da microrregião de Ubá, Minas

Gerais. Tal pesquisa foi realizada por meio

de um estudo comparativo de natureza qualiquantitativa a partir dos resultados obtidos

no SAEB/Prova Brasil e no SIMAVE/Proeb,

utilizando os softwares estatísticos SPSS

e o EXCEL, complementado pela análise

inferencial dos dados coletados. Os dados

indicaram que, apesar de a microrregião

estar ajustada aos condicionantes impostos

pelo "Estado avaliador", a realidade de cada

escola deve ser dimensionada com base na

observação dos impactos dos resultados das

avaliações na dinâmica institucional, pois os

diferentes contextos não são considerados

pelas avaliações externas analisadas. Além

disso, notou-se que a microrregião alcançou

resultados satisfatórios nessas avaliações,

demonstrando que se adequou, mesmo que

com medidas artificiais, ao que é recomendado

pelo Estado.

Abstract:
This chapter presents the data of

a study developed in the Federal University of

Viçosa, during which the results of the external

evaluations of Mathematics of the public

schools that offer the last grades of the Ensino

Fundamental II were analyzed, these schools

are in the mircro-region of Ubá, Minas Gerais,

Brazil. This research was accomplished by

comparing and analyzing in quali-quantitative

way the results from the SAEB/Prova Brasil

and from the SIMAVE/Proeb, using the statics

softwares SPSS and EXCEL, in addition to

the inferential analysis of the collected data.

These data indicated that, although this microregion is adjusted to the conditions imposed

by "evaluator State", the reality of each school

must be measured based on the observation

of the evaluation institutional dynamic results

impacts, because the different contexts are

not considered by the analyzed external

evaluations. Moreover, we have noticed that

this micro-region reached satisfactory results on

these evaluations, showing that it has adjusted to what is recommended by the State, even if with artificial measures.
