AS ATIVIDADES EXTENSIONISTAS NAS UNIVERSIDADES ESTADUAIS DO PARANÁ E OS DESDOBRAMENTOS DO PROGRAMA UNIVERSIDADE SEM FRONTEIRAS NA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DO CENTRO OESTE
A extensão se apresenta como uma esfera de ação relevante nas instituições públicas de ensino no Estado do Paraná. Exemplo disso, é o Programa Universidade Sem Fronteiras, regulamentado via Lei Estadual 16643 de 24 de novembro de 2010. Desta feita, a presente pesquisa caracteriza as atividades de extensão em âmbito das universidades estaduais do Paraná e apresenta os desdobramentos do Programa Universidade Sem Fronteiras na Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste, UNICENTRO. De caráter descritivo, as técnicas de pesquisas utilizadas reportam-se a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Verificou-se a valorização da extensão e busca de meios para sua regulamentação nas sete instituições públicas de ensino superior do Paraná. E quanto a execução de projetos vinculados ao Programa Universidade Sem Fronteiras a UNICENTRO aprovou e executou 154 projetos no período compreendido entre 2007 e 2021. Além dos recursos orçamentários por eles promovidos, estes projetos contribuíram para o fortalecimento do papel social da universidade e para uma formação mais humanista de seus discentes.

Abstract:
University extension presents itself as a relevant scope of action in public education institutions in the State of Paraná. The “University without Borders” program, regulated by the State Law 16643 of November 24, 2010, is an example of that. This research characterizes the extension activities of the state universities of Paraná and presents the development of the “University without Borders” program in the Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste, UNICENTRO. The research techniques used are of descriptive aspect and report to bibliographic and documental research. It was verified that university extension was appreciated and that a search for ways to regulate extension in the seven public institutions of higher education of Paraná exists. Regarding the execution of projects related to the “University without Borders” program, UNICENTRO has approved and executed 154 projects in the period between 2007 and 2021. Besides the budget resources promoted by them, these projects contributed to the enhancement of the social role of the university and to a more humanist educational instruction of its students.
