AS AÇÕES PARA OBTENÇÃO DO ICMS ECOLÓGICO EM UM MUNICÍPIO PIAUIENSE: A TRAJETÓRIA DE PIRIPIRI
O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar as ações realizadas em âmbito local para certificação do ICMS ecológico em Piripiri-PI. A relevância do estudo esteve em apresentar à sociedade as práticas empregadas pelo município através de seus órgãos Públicos, com relação à adequação de uma estrutura que torne possível o recebimento do selo ambiental e os recursos advindos do ICMS Ecológico. Além de salientar as práticas ambientais adotadas para a referida conquista e realçar a importância das questões ambientais para a sociedade. Caracteriza-se como uma abordagem qualitativa, através da aplicação de entrevistas e análise de relatórios, atas e editais para coleta de informações. Pôde-se concluir que o município está realizando ações, como palestras educativas sobre preservação ambiental e incentivo a coleta seletiva, entre outros, para manutenção e conquista de selos de melhor qualificação.

Abstract:
This study aimed to identify the actions taken at the local level for the certification of ecological ICMS in Piripiri-PI. The study's relevance was to present to society the practices employed by the municipality through its Public bodies regarding the adequacy of a structure that makes it possible to receive the environmental seal and the resources arising from the Ecological ICMS. In addition to highlighting the environmental practices adopted for this achievement and highlighting the importance of environmental issues for society. It is characterized as a qualitative approach through interviews and analysis of reports, minutes, and notices to collect information. It was concluded that the municipality is carrying out actions, such as educational lectures on environmental preservation and encouragement of selective collection, among others, maintaining and obtaining better-qualified seals.
