Abstract: The objective of this chapter was to conduct a review of the papers presented and published at the National Education Congress (CONEDU) that addressed the topic of Phylogenetic Systematics (PS) in the context of Biological Science education. To achieve this purpose, a thorough search was carried out in the event's proceedings, aiming to identify all occurrences related to phylogenetic systematics and its use in Biological Science education. The nine editions of CONEDU (2014 to 2022) were carefully investigated to locate the papers that would be subsequently analyzed. Throughout the all editions of CONEDU, a total of 27.018 papers were published. However, it was found that only four of these productions were related to the PS theme. It was observed that all these publications involved some form of educational resource or methodology aimed at promoting learning, such as the use of concept maps, investigative activities, and educational games. Given this scenario, this study aims for the didactic proposals developed by the authors of these papers, which were presented and discussed here, to serve as a basis for the creation of other educational materials and teaching approaches. This initiative aims to provide in-depth exploration and application with significant results in various areas of Biological Sciences through the phylogenetic systematics approach.
