ARTRITE REUMATOIDE E COVID-19: UM RELATO DE CASO
Artrite reumatoide é uma doença reumatológica muito presente na prática clínica diária, afetando principalmente mulheres, com idade superior à 40 anos, estando associada a aspectos genéticos e ambientais. Acomete muitas articulações, mas, principalmente, mãos e punhos, somada a rigidez matinal, dor, inchaço e limitação de movimentos. Com a pandemia do SARS-CoV-2 e a tempestade inflamatória que a sua infecção gera, alguns pacientes com predisposição para artrite reumatoide que foram infectados pelo coronavírus, aceleraram esse processo patológico e iniciaram o convívio com a doença mais precocemente. Desse modo, o presente relato de caso visa a expor um quadro de artrite reumatoide desenvolvida 10 dias após a infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2, em paciente previamente sem doenças autoimunes.

Abstract:
Rheumatoid arthritis is a rheumatological disease very present in daily clinical practice, affecting mainly women, older than 40 years, being associated with genetic and environmental aspects. It affects many joints, but mainly hands and fists, plus morning stiffness, pain, swelling and movement limitation. With the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic and the inflammatory storm that its infection generates, some patients with a predisposition to rheumatoid arthritis who were infected by the coronavirus, accelerated this pathological process and started living with the disease earlier. Thus, the present case report aims to expose a case of rheumatoid arthritis developed 10 days after infection with SARS-Cov-2, in a patient previously without autoimmune diseases.
