Abstract: This article presents the analysis of the historical of Art in Pedagogy in Brazil based on legislation and educational policies, with the objective of understanding which space is destined for Art in the Pedagogy degree, it is a literature review analyzing two universities with the highest number of enrollments, one is about presencial learning and the other is about distance learning, according to information from the 2019 census of Higher Education. The study has a qualitative approach, descriptive and organized in bibliography and documents.
