ARTE E SERVIÇO SOCIAL NO BRASIL: EM CENA A PRODUÇÃO NA ÁREA
Arte é uma mediação que perpassa
o tempo e transmite a realidade, a história e os
sentidos. Por meio da arte é possível romper
com a alienação, pois enquanto atividade
emancipadora, assim como o trabalho, a
filosofia, a política e a ética, a arte possibilita
a suspensão do cotidiano. O texto resulta de
pesquisas realizadas junto à produção em
Serviço Social em eventos da categoria, na pósgraduação
e em artigos em periódicos da área.
Analisa a Arte como meio de enfrentamento
da questão social no cenário contemporâneo
e aponta para o projeto profissional do Serviço
Social brasileiro como um caminho profícuo
nessa direção.

Abstract:
Art is a mediation that crosses
time and conveys reality, history and the senses.
Through art it is possible to break with alienation,
for as an emancipating activity, as well as work,
philosophy, politics and ethics, art enables the
suspension of daily life. The text is the result
of researches carried out with the production
in Social Service in events of the category,
postgraduate and articles in periodicals of the
area. It analyzes Art as a means of coping
with the social question in the contemporary
scenario and points to the professional project
of the Brazilian Social Work as a useful path in
this direction.
