Abstract: This article presents a mobile and rhizomatic map of ongoing research whose main objective is to investigate and experiment with the potential of programming code as expression and creation tools to promote creative learning in mathematics. This is a theoretical, practical and experimental study on creative programming applied to mathematical patterns with artistic potential, such as tile patterns, mosaics and fractal patterns. Its theoretical references are the conceptions of creativity by Winnicott (2011) and the artist Fayga Ostrower (2014), the meaning of learning defended by Paulo Freire (2011), the sense of experience proposed by Larrosa (2016), the concept of interdisciplinarity proposed by Fazenda (1994), always in confluence with Deleuze's philosophy of Difference (2006). It is a cartographic research that maps 1 Professora associada da Universidade Federal do Pará; Doutora em Matemática Aplicada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5829728118120411 2 Professor da Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará; Doutor em Educação Matemática; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5917661277687347 3 Professor do Sistema de Aprendizagem Comercial-Pa; Mestre em Ensino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4524111329328430 2 processes, experiences, meetings, affections, crossings in the territories of mathematics, art and programming in the search for interdisciplinary connections and creative learning. We will present the concept of creative learning and the conception of pictorial language and codified art as intercessors of mathematics, concepts that cross all mathematical and computational processes. As exercises in creativity and experience, we will present the cartographies produced during the research, in addition to the educational product entitled “The art of programming”.
