Abstract: This literature review focused on Arnold-Chiari Syndrome, a complex neurological condition characterized by the displacement of cerebellar structures into the spinal canal. An extensive survey of recent studies was conducted, exploring the diagnosis, treatment, and challenges associated with the condition. Magnetic resonance imaging was reaffirmed as the most effective diagnostic method. Posterior fossa decompression was confirmed as the treatment of choice, despite possible postoperative complications. The review also identified gaps in the existing literature, highlighting the need for further research on long-term patient management and the role of non-surgical therapies.
