curriculares (BRASIL, 1998, 2000) para o ensino

de Estatística e Probabilidade na Educação

Básica para a disciplinada de Matemática,

orientam para uma abordagem que interrelacione

essas duas áreas de conhecimento;

entretanto a estatística muitas vezes é

abordada distanciada da probabilidade. Este

artigo apresenta um projeto de dissertação que

tem por objetivo investigar os conhecimentos

matemáticos e didáticos de professores

de Matemática no Ensino Médio sobre a

articulação entre a estatística e a probabilidade

por meio da curva normal. Teoricamente

fundamentamo-nos nas ideias defendidas por

Shulman (1986, 1987), o qual apresenta as

categorias de conhecimento necessárias para

a prática docente. Em termos metodológicos,

o presente estudo apresenta uma abordagem

qualitativa, onde investigaremos um grupo de

15 professores que atuam no Ensino Médio

da rede pública da cidade de Nazaré da Mata

no estado de PE. Esperamos que este estudo

possa promover novas discussões e reflexões

sobre o ensino de Estatística e Probabilidade,

que favoreçam a qualidade das ações docente

em sala de aula, ampliando a potencialidade das

tarefas didático-pedagógica e de aprendizagem

em favor da construção do conhecimento

estatístico e probabilístico.

Abstract:
Several curricular

recommendations (BRAZIL, 1998, 2000) for the

teaching of Statistics and Probability in Basic

Education for the disciplined Mathematics,

guide an approach that interrelates these two

areas of knowledge; however, statistics are

often approached far from probability. This

article presents a dissertation project that aims

to investigate the mathematical and didactic

knowledge of Mathematics teachers in High

School on the articulation between statistics

and probability through the normal curve.

Theoretically we base ourselves on the ideas

defended by Shulman (1986, 1987), which

presents the categories of knowledge necessary

for the teaching practice. In methodological

terms, the present study presents a qualitative

approach, where we will investigate a group of

15 teachers who work in the High School of the

public network of the city of Nazaré da Mata in

the state of PE. We hope that this study can promote new discussions and reflections

on the teaching of Statistics and Probability, which favor the quality of teaching actions

in the classroom, expanding the potential of didactic-pedagogical and learning tasks in

favor of the construction of statistical and probabilistic knowledge
