Abstract: In the midst of discussions on Science, human rights and education. This article seeks to contribute to a reflection on ethnic-racial relations in the school contexto, especially in Science Teaching. These reflections become relevant due to the fact that in the past, the contentsof this área of knowledge were widely used to justify and even corroborate actions related to racism. The study of Afro-Brazilian history and culture in schools has become na achievement in the fight against racial discrimination. In this way, we will bring the teaching of Science closer to the debate on racismo, articulating with the theory of Evolution, proposed by Charles Darwin. We will present reflections and discussions on the subject, highlighting how racismo can infiltrate various aspects of Science education.
