APROVEITAMENTO DE BIOMASSA EM BIODIGESTORES NA CRIAÇÃO DE SUÍNOS DA REGIÃO OESTE DO PARANÁ: IMPACTOS AMBIENTAIS.
A demanda pelo uso de energia tem aumentado e esse fator tem gerado diversos problemas, como o uso indiscriminado das fontes não renováveis. Com isso, se faz necessário diversificar a matriz energética do Brasil, explorando assim as fontes de energias renováveis disponíveis. A região Oeste do Estado do Paraná tem potencial muito grande na criação de suínos, o que gera impactos ambientais, como poluição do solo, ar e água. Entretanto, a suinocultura Paranaense é de fundamental importância no contexto socioeconômico do Estado. Uma oportunidade de transformar este problema ambiental em um gerador de renda é a produção de energia elétrica por meio da biomassa originada dos dejetos desses animais. Seja organizado em condomínios ou individualmente, essa atividade está possibilitando oferecer energia elétrica para os produtores rurais conjuntamente com a diminuição dos impactos ambientais causados por essa atividade comercial.

Abstract:
The demand for energy use has increased and this factor has created several problems, such as the indiscriminate use of non-renewable sources. As a result, it is necessary to diversify the energy matrix in Brazil, thus exploring the sources of renewable energy available. The western of the State of Paraná has a great potential in pig breeding, which generates environmental impacts, such as soil, air and water pollution. However, pig farming in Parana is of fundamental importance in the socioeconomic context of the State. An opportunity to turn this environmental problem into an income generator is the production of electric energy through the biomass originated from the waste of these animals. Whether organized in condominiums or individually, this activity is making it possible to offer electricity to rural producers together with the reduction of environmental impacts caused by this commercial activity.
