APROPRIAÇÃO DO ESPAÇO URBANO: O HABITAR DO MORADOR DAS RUAS
A existência de pessoas que moram
nas ruas é um acontecimento global, que vem
crescendo consideravelmente nos últimos anos
nas grandes cidades, configurando um fenômeno
do espaço urbano que requer maior atenção
por parte das pesquisas no meio acadêmico
e ações do poder público. O presente estudo
tem como objetivo “caracterizar a pessoa em
situação de rua, identificando e observando as
formas de apropriação dos espaços da cidade
de Joinville/SC”. Para atender este objetivo se
pesquisou: sobre as políticas públicas para
pessoas em situação de rua; Identificou-se o
perfil desta população e averiguou-se as formas
de se apropriar do espaço público urbano.
Através de pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo
foi possível apresentar o cenário das pessoas
que utilizam as ruas como espaço de moradia
e/ou sobrevivência, e assim a compreensão de
como ocorrem as apropriações dos espaços
urbanos da cidade de Joinville/SC.

Abstract:
The existence of persons who live
in the streets is a global event, which is growing
considerably in the last years in the great cities,
shaping a phenomenon of the urbane space
that applies for bigger attention for part of the
inquiries in the academic way and actions
of the public power. The present study takes
as an objective “to characterize the person in
street situation, identifying and observing the
forms of appropriation of the spaces of the city
of Joinville/SC”. To attend this objective one
investigated: On the public policies for persons
in street situation; the profile of this population
Was Identified and There Were Checked
the forms of seizing the urbane public space.
Through bibliographical inquiry and field it was
possible to present the scenery of the persons
who use the streets like space of dwelling and /
or survival, and so the understanding of as there
take place the appropriations of the urbane
spaces of the city of Joinville/SC.
