APRENDIZAGEM SIGNIFICATIVA E O USO DO GOOGLE EARTH NO APRIMORAMENTO DO ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL MAIOR: Um estudo de caso na Unidade Escolar São José no município de Brejo do Piauí/PI
A tecnologia associada ao processo de ensino tem muito a oferecer, muitos professores fazem uso de algumas ferramentas que auxiliam durante suas aulas, no meio educacional a tecnologia é comumente usada e vem a somar nessa questão. A seguinte pesquisa delimitou-se em colher informações sobre como o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, principalmente focados na geografia, pode ser aprimorado, para isso, foi levado em consideração a Unidade Escolar São José que se situa no município de Brejo do Piauí. Tendo em vista esta premissa, o estudo possui como objetivo geral: analisar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem com o uso do aplicativo Google Earth no ensino de geografia, para tal será necessário destacar o uso do aplicativo para o ensino de geografia, apontar a inserção tecnológica no ambiente escolar e ressaltar táticas metodológicas que despertem o interesse dos alunos no processo de aprendizagem. A coleta de dados se deu por meio da aplicação de um questionário para alunos e professores, os dados coletados foram analisados e por intermédio deles, gerados os resultados, os quais apontam para um aprimoramento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem em geografia. Por se tratar de uma ferramenta viável no ensino de Geografia, o aplicativo Google Earth se configura em um grande auxílio no processo de educativo, a inserção da tecnologia no ambiente escolar tem crescido nos últimos anos, o uso da internet e de aplicativos no ensino está cada vez mais comum, isso devido a praticidade no ensino e na aprendizagem dos alunos.

Abstract:
The technology associated with the teaching process has much to offer, many teachers make use of some tools that help during their classes, in the educational environment technology is commonly used and adds to this issue. The following research was limited to gathering information on how the teaching and learning process, mainly focused on geography, can be improved. To this end, the São José School Unit, located in the city of Brejo do Piauí, was taken into consideration. In view of this premise, the study has as its general objective: to analyze the process of teaching and learning with the use of Google Earth application in geography teaching, for this it will be necessary to highlight the use of the application for geography teaching, point out the technological insertion in the school environment and highlight methodological tactics that arouse the interest of students in the learning process. The data collection took place through the application of a questionnaire for students and teachers, the data collected were analyzed and through them, the results were generated, which point to an improvement of the teaching and learning process in geography. Because it is a viable tool for teaching Geography, the Google Earth application is configured in a great aid in the educational process, the insertion of technology in the school environment has grown in recent years, the use of the Internet and applications in teaching is increasingly common, this due to the practicality in teaching and learning of students.
