APPLICATION OF STROMAL VASCULAR FRACTION IN AESTHETICS: A SYSTEMATIZED REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
A fração vascular estromal (FVE) se tornou o foco de novos estudos na atualidade, por auxiliar no processo de renovação tecidual e celular, promovendo também o rejuvenescimento facial. Isto acontece devido à FVE possuir inúmeras células, com destaque para as células-tronco que podem potencializar a reparação. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar, de modo sistematizado, a literatura a fim de identificar a existência de associação entre a FVE e o tratamento estético geral em humanos. Para isto, foram adaptados os critérios de qualidade Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA), sem metanálise, mas como proposta principal de uma metassumarização qualitativa. Foram selecionados artigos através das bases PubMed/ National Library of Medicine (NLM) e a Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, BVS/BIREME. Foram incluídas publicações compreendendo o período de 2014 a 2018 com o uso de descritores padronizados (Medical Subject Headings - MeSH): stromal vascular fraction. Entre os 274 artigos identitificados, 19 foram selecionados de acordo com os critérios de inclusão adotados. Houve concordância na literatura sobre as influências da FVE com fins de reparar o tecido, aumentar a espessura da derme, suavizar rugas e linhas de expressão, promover a volumização perdida e restabelecer cartilagens e tendões. Desta forma, a FVE é uma opção viável para os tratamentos estéticos.

Abstract:
The stromal vascular fraction (SVF) has become the focus of new studies, as its facilitate tissue and cellular renewal processes, also promoting facial rejuvenation. The SVF contains numerous cell types, including stem cells, which can potentiate repair. The objective of this study was to evaluate, systematically, the literature to determine whether an association exists between SVF and general aesthetic treatment in humans. For this, the quality criteria Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews were adapted without meta-analysis but as the main method of qualitative meta-summarization. Articles were selected from the PubMed/National Library of Medicine databases and the Virtual Health Library, BVS/BIREME. Publications were evaluated covering the period from 2014 to 2018 by using the standardized Medical Subject Heading: stromal vascular fraction. Among the 274 articles identified, 19 were selected according to the inclusion criteria adopted. The studies showed agreement regarding the influence of SVF in tissue repair, increasing the dermis thickness, effects on smooth wrinkles and lines of expression, increasing lost volume, and restoring cartilages and tendons. Thus, FVE is a viable option for aesthetic treatments.
