Abstract: The use of mobile technologies in support of health objectives has the potential to transform the delivery of health services worldwide. In Brazil, the Ministry of Health established the “Protocol for the Prevention of Pressure Ulcers”, whose purpose is to promote the prevention of the occurrence of pressure ulcers and other skin injuries. In managing and preventing chronic conditions, patients and families should be informed about chronic conditions, including their cycle, expected complications, and effective strategies to prevent complications and manage symptoms. The developed prototype application targets family members and caregivers, using clear and simple language. But it can also be operated by professionals, students or anyone who wants to gain knowledge on the subject. The objective of the study is to develop a mobile application for health education for pressure injury prevention targeting family members/caregivers of bedridden patients at home. This is a methodological research, with a literature review aimed at the production-construction of a mobile application for health education; Development method: stage I: Situational diagnosis, stage II: Integrative literature review and stage III: Development of the mobile application. Situational diagnosis: A search was carried out on the main distribution platforms for mobile applications on pressure ulcers. The search was performed using the terms “pressure injury” and “Braden”. Literature review: The literature survey in the databases resulted in studies on the development of pressure injury applications available for use. Mobile application development: The application has an easy-to-use graphical interface. When opening, the application logo appears for a brief moment, then the initial screen appears. The application is titled EVITA, and access to it does not require the user to log in with their email to use it. On the application's home screen, there are 8 tabs: Application objective; What is “Pressure Injury?”; "Stages"; “Risk Factors”, “Braden Scale”; "Prevention"; "Bibliographic references"; "Contact". Research was started in the databases to delve deeper into the subject and seek scientific knowledge for the development of the application. At first, a problem question was created which guided the entire study. With the research, we realized the precariousness of technologies that were aimed at preventing pressure injuries and that had facilitated language. In view of this, a technology was developed that would be able to facilitate the understanding of technical standards and help in the care and prevention of pressure injuries. As a limitation of the study project, we have the non-validation of the application.
