Abstract: The study and preservation of water resources on planet Earth are of vital importance so that future generations can enjoy the benefits and needs of drinking water. Faced with the growing scarcity of water in the world, civil engineering and especially its health sector plays an important role in ensuring sustainability and economic development in the world. Governments and Public Universities have invested in training technicians and scientists for the development of sustainable technologies, including alternative systems. These systems use low-cost implementation and maintenance techniques in order to generate reusable waste for the industrial and agricultural sector and thus preserve clean water sources for human consumption. Among the alternative systems in continuous development are the anaerobic reactors. The present research studied for five days the operation of a thematic project of compartmentalized anaerobic reactor installed at FEAGRI at UNICAMP. Therefore, the central focus of the study was the evaluation of the electrical conductivity present before and after the alternative treatment. For the study period, the results were promising and objective, and there was an improvement in the electrical conductivity pattern by 67.07% in relation to raw sewage.
