APLICAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DE QUALIDADE: ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA MICROEMPRESA DO RAMO CALÇADISTA
O mercado globalizado é caracterizado por alta competitividade, necessidade de inovações tecnológicas e rápidas mudanças. A indústria calçadista está inserida neste contexto sendo um ramo que ocupa grande espaço na atual conjuntura brasileiira. Sabendo-se da variação na demanda inerente ao mercado alvo e a falta de padronização, este trabalho analisa, a partir de teorias e métodos da qualidade, a atual situação de uma empresa do ramo calçadista. Objetivase determinar as variáveis influentes do sistema de forma a otimizar os custos de produção através da redução de falhas e desperdícios no processo produtivo. Os resultados obtidos demonstram a eficiência e o impacto positivo provocado pelas ferramentas da qualidade. Observou-se ainda redução de custos com o controle de estoque, diminuição de falhas e aumento da produtividade.

Abstract:
The globalized market is characterized by high competitiveness, the need for technological innovations and rapid changes. The footwear industry is inserted in this context being a branch that occupies great space in the current Brazilian conjuncture. Knowing the variation in the demand inherent in the target market and the lack of standardization, this work analyzes, from theories and methods of quality, the current situation of a footwear company. The objective is to determine the influential variables of the system in order to optimize production costs through the reduction of failures and wastes in the production process. The results obtained demonstrate the efficiency and positive impact of quality tools. It was also observed a reduction of costs with the control of inventory, reduction of failures and increase of productivity.
