APLICAÇÃO DA JUSTIÇA RESTAURATIVA COMO UM MEIO DE MITIGAR A VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER NO AMBIENTE DOMÉSTICO
A violência contra a mulher, no âmbito doméstico, é um problema social que
representa grandes desafios para o seu enfrentamento. Nesse sentido, a presente
pesquisa busca demonstrar como a Justiça Restaurativa pode atuar em casos de
violência doméstica, sobretudo quando homens são autores da violência. Por
intermédio da pesquisa bibliográfica, foram vinculadas as categorias de gênero e
violência, como também relatou de modo breve a história da Lei Maria da Penha,
com ênfase na sua relevância. O resultado da pesquisa constatou as possíveis
intervenções da Justiça Restaurativa, através de sua metodologia de Círculos de
Construção de Paz, com consideração nos projetos em trâmites com homens que
violentaram mulheres no âmbito doméstico no Brasil. A violência doméstica é uma
realidade que deve ser cessada. O respectivo trabalho aborda a Justiça
Restaurativa, mesmo mediante os seus desafios, como um caminho viável para a
restauração dos pilares de valores que são os seus princípios norteadores na
busca da conciliação e na conscientização do indivíduo que cometeu violência
doméstica, dando-lhe a oportunidade de refletir e, consequentemente, inibir a
prática dessa violência.

Abstract:
Violence against women, in the domestic sphere, is a social problem that poses
great challenges for its confrontation. In this sense, this research seeks to
demonstrate how Restorative Justice can act in cases of domestic violence,
especially when men are the perpetrators of violence. Through bibliographical
research, the categories of gender and violence were linked, as well as briefly
reporting the history of the Maria da Penha Law, with emphasis on its relevance.
The result of the research found the possible interventions of Restorative Justice,
through its methodology of Peacebuilding Circles, with consideration in projects in
progress with men who violated women in the domestic sphere in Brazil. Domestic
violence is a reality that must be stopped. The respective work addresses6
Restorative Justice, even with its challenges, as a viable way to restore the pillars
of values that are its guiding principles in the search for conciliation and
awareness of the individual who committed domestic violence, giving him the
opportunity reflect and, consequently, inhibit the practice of this violence.
