APLICABILIDADE DOS INDICADORES DO DIAGNÓSTICO NO PLANO DE SANEAMENTO BÁSICO DE BELÉM
Analisam-se os indicadores da
etapa de diagnóstico do Plano Municipal de
Saneamento Básico (PMSB), observando
a aplicabilidade para o conhecimento da
situação no município de Belém. A pesquisa
foi bibliográfica e documental, com abordagem
qualitativa e estudo de caso, mediante o
levantamento e a análise quantitativa e
qualitativa dos indicadores utilizados na
elaboração da etapa de diagnóstico do PMSB
do município de Belém. Verificou-se que, dos
18 indicadores gerais do PMSB de Belém, 15
não apresentam relação com saneamento
básico, bem como não consta nenhum
indicador do grupo ambiental e apenas três
dos 16 indicadores específicos são aplicáveis
à etapa de diagnóstico. Por fim, sugerem-se 20
indicadores para possibilitar o conhecimento
da situação no setor de saneamento básico no
contexto de elaboração da etapa de diagnóstico
dos PMSB.

Abstract:
Analyze the Municipal Plan of
Basic Sanitation (PMSB) indicators of the
diagnosis stage, observing the applicability for
the understanding of the situation in the city of
Belém. The research was bibliographical and
documentary, with quantitative and qualitative
approach and case study, being carried out the
survey and the analysis of the indicators used
in the elaboration of PMSB diagnosis stage in
the city of Belém. It was verified that 15 of the
18 general indicators of the PMSB of Belém
are not related with basic sanitary, that there
is no indicator of the environmental group and
that only three of the 16 specific indicators are
applicable to the diagnostic stage. In conclusion,
20 indicators were suggested to enable the
understanding of the situation of the basic
sanitation sector in the context of draw up of the
diagnostic stage of the PMSB..
