APARECIMENTO DE MANIFESTAÇÕES ORAIS EM CRIANÇAS OCASIONADAS PELO USO DE TERAPIAS ANTINEOPLÁSICAS
A taxa de mortalidade por câncer infantil no Brasil e no mundo é um dos fatores que requer ampla atenção na área da saúde. O uso de antineoplásicos no tratamento de pacientes oncológicos é uma questão a ser analisada cuidadosamente, visto que seu descomunal poder imunossupressor pode gerar uma descompensação na cavidade oral, dificultando ainda mais o desempenho terapêutico. Objetivo: O artigo em questão tem como objetivo analisar a incidência de lesões na mucosa bucal de pacientes infanto-juvenis, proveniente da terapia com antineoplásicos. Métodos: Refere-se a uma revisão de literatura, com artigos datados entre os anos de 2001 a 2020, conferidos no período de abril a maio deste ano. Os artigos foram selecionados na base de dados Scielo, Pubmed e Lilacs, com os seguintes descritores: Câncer infantil, Microbiota oral e antineoplásicos. Revisão de Literatura: Foi possível analisar que essas manifestações orais estão diretamente relacionadas ao uso de específicos antineoplásicos, como a cisplatina e a ciclofosfamida. Os principais tipos de lesões que podem sobrevir após a administração do fármaco, entre pacientes de 0-18 anos de idade, são: Mucosite e xerostomia do tipo fúngica, bacteriana ou viral. Conclusão- Em virtude dos fatos citados, foi possível detectar que a terapia medicamentosa estar propriamente associada ao aparecimento das manifestações bucais. Portanto, é de grande importância a análise da cavidade oral dos pacientes, para que o mesmo possua uma boa recuperação de sua saúde.

Abstract:
The mortality rate from childhood cancer in Brazil and in the world is one of the factors that requires wide attention in the health area. The use of antineoplastic agents in the treatment of cancer patients is an issue to be carefully analyzed, since its extraordinary immunosuppressive power can generate decompensation in the oral cavity, making therapeutic performance even more difficult. Objective: The article in question aims to analyze the incidence of lesions in the oral mucosa of children and adolescents, resulting from therapy with antineoplastic agents. Methods: Refers to a literature review, with articles dated between 2001 and 2020, from April to May this year. The articles were selected from the Scielo, Pubmed and Lilacs database, with the following descriptors: Childhood cancer, Oral microbiota and antineoplastic. Literature Review: It was possible to analyze that these oral manifestations are directly related to the use of specific antineoplastic agents, such as cisplatin and cyclophosphamide. The main types of lesions that can occur after administration of the drug, among patients aged 0-18 years, are: Mucositis and xerostomia of the fungal, bacterial or viral type. Conclusion: In view of the aforementioned facts, it was possible to detect that drug therapy is properly associated with the appearance of oral manifestations. Therefore, it is of great importance to analyze the oral cavity of patients, so that it has a good recovery of their health.
