ANTROPOLOGIA LITERÁRIA: UMA ANÁLISE DO OLHO E DO OLHAR EM “O CORAÇÃO DELATOR” DE EDGAR ALLAN POE
Este trabalho busca analisar a
obra “O Coração Delator”, de Edgar Allan Poe,
bem como desenvolver uma análise de cunho
antropológico, uma vez que a Antropologia é a
ciência que estuda o Homem, seus costumes,
crenças, hábitos e aspectos físicos. Sendo o
“olho” um símbolo carregado de significados, a
primeira tarefa é investigar o motivo de o autor
ter usado este fragmento do corpo humano
como tema central para o desenrolar de uma
atmosfera tensa, escura e perturbadora.

Abstract:
This study aim to analyze the
short story, “The Tell Tale Heart” written by
Edgar Allan Poe. Additionally to it make its
anthropological analyses; once anthropology is
a science which studies the human being, his
behavior, beliefs and physical aspects. “The
eye” being a symbol loaded with meanings,
our first task is to investigate the reason for the
author have used this specific part of the human
body as main theme for the unrolling of a tense,
disturbing and dark atmosphere.
