ANSIEDADE E OBESIDADE EM PACIENTES COM ZUMBIDO: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Uma vez alterações no sistema límbico e obesidade se constituem em fatores de risco para zumbido e ansiedade, resolveu-se, pesquisar e analisar a relação entre o zumbido e ansiedade e preocupação com a obesidade. Realizou-se uma revisão da literatura com levantamento bibliográfico de textos publicados nos últimos 10 anos nas bases de dados indexadas LILACS, SciELO e PubMed, com os seguintes descritores: “zumbido “, “ansiedade” e “obesidade “, com o operador booleno “AND’ em inglês e português. Foram encontradas 4 publicações com estes descritores, sendo que 1 foi elegível ao tema do estudo e revisado na íntegra. Os resultados do artigo selecionado demonstraram que quatrocentos e trinta e cinco alunos (46,9%) apresentaram zumbido mais de uma vez, e quarenta e um (4,4%) sofreram continuamente. A autopercepção de perda auditiva, tontura, cefaleia e preocupação com a obesidade teve diferenças significativas entre os grupos com zumbido e sem zumbido, enquanto outros fatores de estresse como ansiedade não apresentaram diferença. Esta revisão permitiu verificar que há escassez de estudos que comparam a relação entre zumbido, ansiedade e preocupação com a obesidade. Há necessidade de mais estudos para se observar se há associação com zumbido e ansiedade e obesidade.

Abstract:
Since alterations in the limbic system and obesity constitute risk factors for tinnitus and anxiety, it was decided to research and analyze the relationship between tinnitus and anxiety and concern with obesity. A literature review was carried out with a bibliographic survey of texts published in the last 10 years in LILACS, SciELO and PubMed indexed databases, with the following descriptors: “tinnitus”, “anxiety” and “obesity”, with the Boolean operator “ AND' in English and Portuguese. Four publications were found with these descriptors, 1 of which was eligible for the study topic and fully revised. The results of the selected article showed that four hundred and thirty-five students (46.9%) had tinnitus more than once, and forty-one (4.4%) suffered continuously. The self-perception of hearing loss, dizziness, headache and concern about obesity had significant differences between groups with tinnitus and without tinnitus, while other stress factors such as anxiety did not differ. This review allowed us to verify that there is a scarcity of studies comparing the relationship between tinnitus, anxiety and obesity concerns. There is a need for further studies to see if there is an association with tinnitus and anxiety and obesity.
