Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic poses unexpected challenges to healthcare systems, particularly affecting Community Health Agents (CHWs), who work on the front lines of Primary Care. This study aims to analyze the post-pandemic psychosocial impacts on CHWs, with an emphasis on the prevalence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, and burnout. This is an integrative literature review conducted in SciELO, LILACS, and PubMed databases, using descriptors such as "community health agent," "anxiety," "depression," "burnout," and "COVID-19." The results point to significant emotional overload and institutional neglect regarding the mental health of these professionals. It is concluded that, despite the fundamental role of CHWs in consolidating the SUS (Unified Health System), their mental health remains invisible in public policies, requiring specific support and care strategies.
