Abstract: This research was carried out under the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to 3rd, 4th, and 5th year students of bachelor’s degree in English Language from Universidad Gerardo Barrios during the year 2020. The main objective was to help students increase their scores in different TOEFL simulations after they completed a virtual course called: Psychoeducational Techniques for the preparation of the TOEFL exam. The Logical Framework methodology was applied and within the most noteworthy results it was found that the stress level in the participants decreased by 78.6%, and the anxiety level by 57.1%, while the TOEFL simulation scores increased by a 5.0% average. The research team evaluates that the study was feasible and effective despite the adversities in its implementation. It is recommended that any educational entities interested in achieving comparable results in standardized tests can adjust and implement this course.
