ANEURISMA INTRACRANIANO GIGANTE EM ADOLESCENTE
Aneurismas cerebrais são raros
em adolescentes e, ao acometerem essa
faixa etária, afetam mais os meninos e a
circulação posterior. Quando na artéria
cerebral média (ACM), tendem a ser gigantes
e fusiformes, com difícil tratamento. É relatado o
caso de um adolescente de 13 anos de idade com quadro
de hemorragia subaracnóidea devido a um
aneurisma gigante no segmento M2 da ACM
esquerda. Foi submetido a procedimento
cirúrgico endovascular com boa evolução pósoperatória.

Abstract:
Brain aneurysms are rare in
teenagers and, in this population fraction,
affect more oftenly the boys and the posterior
circulation. When in the middle cerebral artery
(MCA), they tend to be giants and fusiforms,
with challenging treatment. Is being reported the
case of a 13 year old teenager with subarachnoid
hemorrhage due to a giant aneurysm in the
M2 division of the left MCA. He underwent an
endovascular surgical procedure with good
postoperative evolution.
