ANÁLISIS TEÓRICO SOBRE EL ENFOQUE DE GÉNERO: UN ANÁLISIS BIBLIOGRÁFICO PARA REPENSAR EL DESARROLLO

Introducción: El enfoque de género en el desarrollo es crucial para visibilizar desigualdades estructurales. Este estudio destaca su importancia como herramienta analítica y política que permite repensar el desarrollo desde la justicia social, reconociendo las voces, necesidades y aportes de las mujeres en contextos históricamente marcados por la exclusión y la violencia. Objetivo: analizar los principales aportes teóricos que han configurado el enfoque de género en el ámbito del desarrollo, con especial énfasis en sus implicaciones para el análisis de las desigualdades urbanas y las políticas públicas con perspectiva feminista. Metodología: se utiliza un enfoque a partir de una metodología cualitativa, basada en la revisión y el análisis hermenéutico de textos clave, se construye un corpus teórico representativo que articula propuestas clásicas y contemporáneas de autoras y autores fundamentales tanto del ámbito global como del pensamiento feminista latinoamericano. Resultados: entre los principales resultados se destaca la contribución fundacional de Ester Boserup, quien evidenció la exclusión de las mujeres en las políticas de desarrollo económico, y la posterior elaboración de enfoques como WID y GAD por Moser y otras autoras, que diferencian entre la mera inclusión de las mujeres y la transformación estructural de las relaciones de género. Conclusiones: el repensar el desarrollo desde una perspectiva feminista implica desplazar el enfoque economicista hacia un modelo centrado en la justicia social, el bienestar y la sostenibilidad de la vida.

  • Abstract: Introduction: The gender approach to development is crucial for highlighting structural inequalities. This study highlights its importance as an analytical and political tool that allows for a rethinking of development from a perspective of social justice, recognizing the voices, needs, and contributions of women in contexts historically marked by exclusion and violence. Objective: To analyze the main theoretical contributions that have shaped the gender approach to development, with special emphasis on its implications for the analysis of urban inequalities and public policies from a feminist perspective. Methodology: A qualitative approach is used, based on the review and hermeneutic analysis of key texts. A representative theoretical corpus is constructed that articulates classic and contemporary proposals from key authors from both the global and Latin American feminist spheres. Results: Among the main results, the foundational contribution of Ester Boserup stands out, who highlighted the exclusion of women from economic development policies, and the subsequent development of approaches such as WID and GAD by Moser and others, which differentiate between the mere inclusion of women and the structural transformation of gender relations. Conclusions: Rethinking development from a feminist perspective implies shifting the economic approach to a model centered on social justice, well-being, and the sustainability of life.
