Abstract: The research proposal is aimed at determining the nutritional quality of corn silage, with and without cob, as a tool for producers, since in our country Colombia, they carry out this practice as an alternative to lowering its production costs. Furthermore, in the study, different inclusions of molasses were used in percentages of 2%, 4% and 6%, resulting in six treatments for the study, in which bromatological tests were carried out where the nutritional quality was evaluated (MS, PC, FDN, FDA) according to the Van Soet method adapted by the laboratory; with a qualitative research approach, using a 2 x 3 factorial arrangement for the 6 treatments, where each treatment was carried out in an individual bag and each treatment had 3 repetitions in independent bags, and the data were analyzed through comparison tests of SAS analytical software descriptive statistics (averages and deviations). Where a difference is observed between the silages with cob and without it, the values with cob being higher, although they are not so significant, added to higher results in the fibers with inclusion of high molasses in the silos and better digestibility values in cob silages. In addition, relevant data were obtained that point to concluding that the possibility of selling the cob in corn silage should be explored, to obtain an opportunity cost and lower the costs of silage production for cattle, and even think about the profit of The sale of cob supplement protein in the animal diet.
