Abstract: Gastric cancer is an oncological disease that represents a significant public health challenge in Colombia and the world. GLOBOCAN reports an average of one million new cases of GC per year and more than 700,000 deaths per year. GC accounts for 5.7% of all new cancer cases and 8.2% of all cancer deaths worldwide. Japan and Korea have the highest incidence figures in the world, with an average of 69.2 cases per 100,000 population. The analysis of gastric cancer mortality is presented using an exploratory, descriptive, analytical and predictive approach, based on the analysis of deaths occurring in the period 2010 - 2021. Deaths, mortality indicators and a SARIMA model were used for the time series analysis.
