• Abstract: The professional link between the university and the industry is the objective of our academic work. It is the interest of the work to register an articulation project based on the analysis of data from telecommunications services. The performance of the engineering students who implement it is evaluated using analytical rubrics developed for this case. Digital transformation processes cause profound changes, among others in the generation of goods and services. In this context, obtaining relevant information from available data is a valuable contribution to organizations. The project is based on an exploratory study of real data, which uses the Python platform and its different libraries as a tool, to build a customer profile with high potential for abandonment in telecommunications services. The aim is to contribute to the promotion of activities that integrate academia with industry and the value the application of new tools can provide to students and teachers.
