ANÁLISE SOCIOAMBIENTAL DA DEGRADAÇÃO AO LONGO DO RIO CEREJA, BRAGANÇA-PARÁ
O presente trabalho faz uma análise da degradação ambiental ao longo do rio Cereja, na cidade de Bragança-Pará, identificando como características os fatores sociais, econômicos e ambientais. Para tanto a análise foi fundamentada em procedimentos técnicos dividida em três etapas: levantamento bibliográfico e cartográfico, trabalho de campo com aplicação de questionários e análise das variáveis físico-químicas da água, e a sistematização dos resultados. No decorrer da pesquisa realizou-se: o mapeamento do curso principal do rio Cereja, a identificação das principais formas de uso, a caracterização e degradação ambiental do rio, a condição da qualidade superficial da água e o levantamento socioeconômico da população residente na área de proteção ambiental do rio Cereja. Para compreender as diferentes formas de uso e impactos que acontecem ao longo do rio Cereja, foi selecionada como recorte territorial, para realização da pesquisa a área de proteção ambiental do rio, acrescida de 20 m, totalizando 50m de ambas as margens do rio, com o intuito compreender as ocupações próximas ao leito do mesmo. A partir dos procedimentos metodológicos utilizados na pesquisa foi possível verificar que o rio Cereja tem grande importância socioambiental na cidade de Bragança, pois abriga uma população estimada em 1.470 habitantes, cerca de 378 residências particulares em aproximadamente 5 km de comprimento. Neste percurso é denotado de diferentes formas de usos, que lhe atribuem vários impactos socioambientais como: retirada da vegetação ciliar, ocupação desordenada e assoreamento. Neste sentido é necessária a urgente intervenção do poder público local e a reeducação da população que reside ao longo do mesmo.

Abstract:
The present work analyzes the environmental degradation along the river Cereja, in the city of Bragança-Pará, identifying social, economic and environmental factors as characteristics. Therefore, the analysis was based on technical procedures divided into three stages: bibliographic and cartographic survey, field work with the application of questionnaires and analysis of the physical-chemical variables of the water, and the systematization of the results. During the research, the following were carried out: the mapping of the main course of the river Cereja, the identification of the main forms of use, the characterization and environmental degradation of the river, the condition of the surface water quality and the socioeconomic survey of the population residing in the area of environmental protection of the Cherry River. In order to understand the different forms of use and impacts that occur along the Cereja River, the environmental protection area of the river was selected as a territorial cutout, plus 20 m, totaling 50 m on both sides of the river, with the intention to understand the occupations close to the bed of the same. From the methodological procedures used in the research, it was possible to verify that the Cereja River has great socio-environmental importance in the city of Bragança, as it houses an estimated population of 1,470 inhabitants, about 378 private residences in approximately 5 km in length. In this route it is denoted of different forms of uses, which attribute to it several socio-environmental impacts such as: removal of riparian vegetation, disorderly occupation and silting. In this sense, the urgent intervention of the local public power and the re-education of the population that resides along it is necessary.
