ANÁLISE SOBRE A GESTÃO DE RESÍDUOS DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL NA CIDADE DE PORTO ALEGRE/RS
A construção civil é responsável por gerar grandes impactos ambientais. Buscar medidas para minimizar a geração de resíduos da construção civil e realizar sua destinação correta, apresentam-se como alternativas viáveis à redução destes impactos. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar locais utilizados para o descarte regular em Porto Alegre/RS e sua relação com as obras em andamento.
Como metodologia, foram mapeados os pontos de descarte regular e foram levantadas as edificações em construção. Conclui-se que não há quantidade adequada de aterros licenciados para receber a demanda de resíduos gerados pela construção civil e os existentes encontram-se afastados das fontes geradoras.

Abstract:
Civil construction is responsible for generating major environmental impacts. Searching for measures to minimize the generation of civil construction waste and carrying out its correct destination are viable alternatives for reducing these impacts. The purpose of this study is to identify places used for regular disposal in Porto Alegre/RS and their relation with ongoing works. As a methodology, regular disposal points were mapped and buildings under construction were surveyed. It is concluded that there is no adequate amount of licensed landfills to receive the demand for waste generated by civil construction and the existing ones are far from generating sources.
