• Abstract:

  The goal of this research is

  to quantify and to analyze cases of vectorborne diseases (Malaria, Leishmaniasis,

  Chagas' disease, Yellow Fever and Dengue)

  in the cities from Mato Grosso do Sul State,

  between 2015 and 2016 years. To quantify the

  number of deaths in each city, due to vectorborne diseases; to quantify the number of

  hospitalizations in each city, due to vector-borne

  diseases; to group and to analyze the number

  of occurrences according to the geographical

  microregions which the cities have been located;

  to understand the main factors that explain the

  spread of diseases in different periods of the

  year. The methodology used to this research is

  the bibliographical survey on the geographical

  health and the collection of data in the database 

  DATASUS, TABNET, SIDRA and, elaboration and preparation of tables, charts and

  maps and, analysis and systematization of the data, the development of the partial and

  final reports. At the end of this research, we had identified the main regions of Mato

  Grosso do Sul State which diseases caused by vectors have a higher incidence.
