ANÁLISE PRELIMINAR DOS IMPACTOS DE ORDEM SANITÁRIA E AMBIENTAL NO ENTORNO DO LAGO MAPIRI
A infraestrutura sanitária, saneamento, a coleta de resíduos sólidos, drenagem urbana, distribuição de água e esgoto são requisitos básicos para que a população não sofra com eventos naturais de forte grau, não tenha problemas com a saúde, muitas vezes direcionados ao esgoto; e não seja afetada com doenças pela ingestão de água. É com este parâmetro que o estudo visa fazer uma pesquisa voltada para os possíveis infortúnios que a ausência de saneamento pode causar à saúde e bem estar dos moradores do bairro Mapiri, localizado na cidade de Santarém, na zona Oeste do Pará, uma vez que muitas das doenças que afligem o bem estar humano, estão relacionado com o déficit na estrutura de ordem sanitária e ambiental de regiões e cidades. A presente pesquisa objetivou analisar através de questionários, avaliações fotográficas e visitas in loco a infraestrutura do saneamento básico – acondicionamento, coleta de resíduos sólidos, drenagem, esgotamento sanitário, e saúde pública no entorno do lago do Mapiri e nas proximidades da ETE Mapiri. Os moradores relataram durante as entrevistas que durante o tempo de vivencia no local observaram muitas mudanças no entorno do lago, como a cor, o odor, presença de lama e resíduos lançados, o que antes era usado para pesca e lazer, hoje já não pode ser utilizado dessa forma, além disso um dos pontos mencionados foi a falta de cuidado por parte da população com o descarte do lixo, e a redução da mata ciliar nas margens do lago. Diante desse senário torna-se evidente a preocupação pela universalização do saneamento, é possível inferir ainda que a população esta ciente de que o descarte de lixo a céu aberto, acumulo de agua em terrenos e água pluviais acumuladas nas vias públicas podem gerar graves problemas à saúde, visto que são locais como estes que propiciam a proliferação de microrganismos patógenos, bactérias.

Abstract:
Health infrastructure, sanitation, solid waste collection, urban drainage, water and sewage distribution are basic requirements so that the population does not suffer from strong natural events, has no health problems, often directed to sewage; and is not affected with diseases by water intake. It is with this parameter that the study aims to make a research focused on the possible misfortunes that the absence of sanitation can cause to the health and well being of the residents of the Mapiri neighborhood, located in the city of Santarém, in the west zone of Pará, since many of the diseases that afflict human well being are related to the deficit in the sanitary and environmental structure of regions and cities. This survey aimed to analyze through questionnaires, photographic evaluations and on-site visits the basic sanitation infrastructure - conditioning, solid waste collection, drainage, sanitary sewage, and public health in the surroundings of Lake Mapiri and in the vicinity of ETE Mapiri. The residents reported during the interviews that during their time at the site they observed many changes in the lake surroundings, such as color, odor, presence of mud and waste thrown, what used to be used for fishing and leisure, today can no longer be used in this way, moreover one of the points mentioned was the lack of care on the part of the population with the disposal of garbage, and the reduction of the riparian forest on the banks of the lake. In the face of this concern for the universalization of sanitation, it is possible to infer that the population is aware that the disposal of garbage in the open, accumulation of water on land and rainwater accumulated in public roads can generate serious health problems, since it is places like these that provide the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms, bacteria.
