• Abstract: Understanding the climatic characteristics of a municipality is extremely important for its environmental and socioeconomic activities. In order to understand the partial climatological profile of the municipality of Niquelândia, secondary data from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) and the National Water Agency (ANA) database were used with a temporal resolution of 9 years (2013 to 2021), the meteorological variables analyzed were: precipitation, temperature and relative humidity. From the analyzes, standardized precipitation and evapotranspiration index were generated with the aim of observing the annual behavior of extreme events in the municipality of Niquelândia.
