Abstract: Paragominas municipality, located in the northeastern region of Pará State, Brazil, stands out for its significant agricultural importance and the diversity of geological, geomorphological, and pedological characteristics that influence land use and occupation. In this context, this study aimed to characterize and spatialize soil units and landforms through the integration of pedological data, digital elevation models, and their derived attributes. The research was conducted using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial datasets obtained from IBGE, EMBRAPA, and the Copernicus GLO-30 Digital Elevation Model. The analyzed variables included pedology, hypsometry, terrain slope, Terrain Ruggedness Index (TRI), and soil erodibility. The results revealed the predominance of Dystrophic Yellow Oxisols, covering approximately 79% of the municipal area and mainly associated with the Gurupi-Grajaú Dissected Plateau, Paragominas Plateau, and Pará Tablelands geomorphological units. Relief analysis indicated that 85.2% of the territory presents slopes ranging from 0 to 13%, representing favorable conditions for agricultural mechanization. TRI analysis showed that 42.25% of the area is characterized by low terrain ruggedness, whereas only 33.27% presents more rugged topography and greater restrictions for intensive land use. Regarding soil erodibility, approximately 63% of the municipality is classified as having very low to low erodibility, while only 10.45% exhibits high to extremely high susceptibility to erosion. These findings indicate that Paragominas possesses a high agricultural potential when considering its pedological and geomorphological characteristics. The integration of spatial information enabled a better understanding of the relationships among soils, relief, and geomorphological processes, highlighting the importance of geotechnologies as effective tools for territorial planning, land suitability assessment, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
