ANÁLISE DOS MODELOS USADOS NA ATENÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA E SUA IMPORTÂNCIA PARA O PACIENTE DIABÉTICO
A atenção farmacêutica se utiliza
de diversos modelos para promover a saúde
e aumentar a qualidade de vida de pacientes
diabéticos, contudo o profissional farmacêutico
ainda é excluído das equipes de saúde primária,
tornando o deficiente acompanhamento desses
pacientes. Este artigo teve como objetivo
analisar os modelos atualmente utilizados na
atenção farmacêutica e sua importância para
pacientes diabéticos. Realizou-se uma pesquisa
bibliográfica através de análise detalhada de
materiais publicados na literatura anteriormente
procurando enfatizar a importância de um
acompanhamento humanizado e responsável
para pacientes portadores de diabetes através
de modelos da atenção farmacêutica que
ainda hoje se mostraram eficazes. Concluiuse
que há um déficit muito grande na atenção
e acompanhamento de pacientes diabéticos
podendo ser suprida pela inserção de
farmacêuticos na atenção primaria de saúde.

Abstract:
The pharmaceutical care uses
several models to promote health and enhance
the quality of life of diabetic patients, however
the professional pharmacist is still excluded
from the primary health teams, making the
poor monitoring of these patients. This article
aimed to analyze the models currently used
in pharmaceutical care and its importance for
diabetic patients. A bibliographical research
through detailed analysis of materials published
in the literature previously looking emphasize
the importance of humane and responsible
monitoring for patients with diabetes through
pharmaceutical care models that still today have proven to be effective. It was concluded
that there is a very large deficit on attention and follow-up of diabetic patients and may
be supplied by the insertion of pharmacists in primary health attention.
