ANÁLISE DOS DADOS EPIDEMIOLÓGICOS¬¬ DE IDOSOS ACOMETIDOS PELA LEISHMANIOSE VISCERAL NO BRASIL
A leishmaniose visceral é uma doença infecciosa considerada uma zoonose que acomete o homem quando este entra no ciclo, sendo transmitida por meio de um vetor. A transmissão por intermédio deste flebotomíneo ocorre durante a hematofagia entre vertebrados contaminados e o homem. A presente investigação é um estudo epidemiológico, descritivo, transversal de abordagem quantitativa, com dados do Sistema de Informações de Agravos de Notificação, disponibilizados pelo Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde. A coleta de dados ocorreu em maio de 2019 utilizando-se os dados referentes aos anos de 2008 a 2017. Para a análise estatística descritiva utilizaram-se dados distribuídos por meio de planilhas da Microsoft Excel 2010 elaboradas pelo TABNET/DATASUS utilizando as seguintes variáveis: escolaridade, ano de notificação, sexo, critério de confirmação, evolução do caso e tipo de entrada. Infere-se, pois que o maior número casos de leishmaniose visceral em idosos de acordo com a escolaridade concentra-se nas pessoas com até a quarta série do ensino fundamental incompleta. O menor registro referente à escolaridade ocorreu com indivíduos que possuem a educação superior incompleta. No que tange aos casos de leishmaniose visceral houve progressivo aumento das notificações de 2008 até o ano de 2017, demonstrando elevada incidência nos casos de idosos acometidos pela doença. Referente ao sexo dos idosos a maioria dos indivíduos acometidos é do sexo masculino e que a maioria dos casos notificados foi elucidada por intermédio de diagnóstico clínico epidemiológico.

Abstract:
Visceral leishmaniasis is an infectious disease considered a zoonosis that affects humans when they enter the cycle and is transmitted through a vector. Transmission through this sandfly occurs during hematophagy between contaminated vertebrates and man. The present investigation is an epidemiological, descriptive, cross-sectional study of quantitative approach, with data from the Notification Disease Information System, available from the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System. Data collection took place in May 2019 using the Data for the years 2008 to 2017. For the descriptive statistical analysis we used data distributed through Microsoft Excel 2010 spreadsheets prepared by TABNET / DATASUS using the following variables: education, year of notification, gender, confirmation criteria, evolution case and input type. It is inferred, therefore, that the highest number of visceral leishmaniasis in the elderly according to education is concentrated in people with up to the fourth grade of incomplete elementary school. The lowest record regarding education occurred with individuals with incomplete higher education. Regarding the cases of visceral leishmaniasis, there was a progressive increase in the notifications from 2008 until 2017, showing a high incidence in the cases of elderly people affected by the disease. Regarding the gender of the elderly, most of the individuals affected are male and most of the reported cases were elucidated through epidemiological clinical diagnosis.
