ANÁLISE DO RÓTULO DE MEDICAMENTOS FITOTERÁPICOS COM AÇÕES ANSIOLÍTICAS ALIADAS AO EMAGRECIMENTO, VENDIDOS EM DROGARIAS
Introdução: A rotulagem dos medicamentos é extremamente importante, principalmente pelo seu poder de informação ao usuário, além de muitas vezes, ser o único documento que fornece instruções básicas. Objetivo: Verificar se o rótulo dos medicamentos fitoterápicos isentos de prescrição médica, coadjuvantes no emagrecimento e comercializados em drogarias online, estão de acordo com os requisitos previstos pela RDC nº 71/09. Método: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, desenvolvido através da análise do rótulo de medicamentos fitoterápicos. A amostra foi representada pelos medicamentos que agem como controladores da ansiedade e que podem ser prescritos por nutricionistas especialistas, sendo estes comercializados em drogarias online na cidade de Salvador, Bahia. Utilizou-se como instrumento de coleta uma lista de checagem, contendo os itens de exigências e obrigatoriedades previstos na RDC Nº 71, de 22 de dezembro de 2009. Análise estatística realizada de forma descritiva, com detalhamento dos resultados obtidos. Resultados: Quanto à composição, tratam-se de medicamentos simples à base da espécie Passiflora Incarnata L. e da associação Passiflora Incarnata L., Crataegus Oxyacantha L. e Salix Alba L. Após a aplicação da lista de checagem e a posterior análise dos rótulos dos 14 medicamentos fitoterápicos, foram identificados que 64% dos rótulos constavam irregularidades e apenas 36% estavam de acordo com a legislação. Os itens que apresentaram maior inadequação foram: especificação do derivado vegetal (50%); concentração do princípio ativo (35,71%); via de administração (28,57%); a frase “MEDICAMENTO FITOTERÁPICO” (21,42%); e o número de registro no Ministério da Saúde (21,42%). Conclusão: A análise dos rótulos demonstrou que a maioria não estava em conformidade, pois não constavam alguns itens exigidos pela RDC nº 71/09. Portanto, é notório que ocorre uma deficiência na fiscalização da embalagem secundária dos medicamentos fitoterápicos comercializados nos sites das drogarias. Salienta-se que tais informações são importantes para promoção do uso racional de medicamentos.

Abstract:
Introduction: The labeling of medicines is extremely important, mainly due to its power of information to the user, in addition to often being the only document that provides basic instructions. Objective: To verify if the label of herbal medicines that are exempt from medical prescription, assist in weight loss and sold in online drugstores, are in accordance with the requirements provided by RDC nº 71/09. Method: This is a cross-sectional study, developed through the analysis of the label of herbal medicines. The sample was represented by the drugs that act as anxiety controllers and that can be prescribed by specialist nutritionists, which are marketed in online drugstores in the city of Salvador, Bahia. A checklist was used as a collection instrument, containing the items of requirements and obligations provided for in RDC No. 71, of December 22, 2009. Statistical analysis performed in a descriptive manner, with details of the results obtained. Results: Regarding the composition, these are simple medicines based on the species Passiflora Incarnata L. and the association Passiflora Incarnata L., Crataegus Oxyacantha L. and Salix Alba L. After the application of the checklist and the subsequent analysis of the labels of the 14 herbal medicines, it was identified that 64% of the labels contained irregularities and only 36% were in accordance with the legislation. The items that showed the greatest inadequacy were: specification of the vegetable derivative (50%); concentration of the active ingredient (35.71%); route of administration (28.57%); the phrase “PHYTOTHERAPY MEDICINE” (21.42%); and the registration number with the Ministry of Health (21.42%). Conclusion: The analysis of the labels showed that the majority was not in conformity, as there were no items required by RDC No. 71/09. Therefore, it is notorious that there is a deficiency in the inspection of the secondary packaging of herbal medicines sold on drugstore websites. It is emphasized that such information is important to promote the rational use of medicines.
