ANÁLISE DO POTENCIAL DE GERAÇÃO EÓLICA NO ESTADO DA BAHIA
Este trabalho tem como objetivo a análise do potencial de geração eólica no estado da Bahia, com base em informações acerca do comportamento dos ventos na região e nos empreendimentos já existentes. Em um primeiro momento leva-se em consideração os aspectos técnicos envolvidos no estudo de viabilidade de instalação de um parque eólico, discutindo-se as variáveis pertinentes ao assunto e que influenciam, de forma definitiva, no potencial da região. Em seguida, são analisados os perfis de vento da região com discussões mais aprofundadas com relação àqueles pontos onde se constata as maiores velocidades médias anuais. Por fim, é feito um estudo de caso por simulação via Matlab/Simulink a qual busca avaliar o potencial de geração na região de Guanambi, cidade está onde já se encontra operante um parque eólico.

Abstract:
This work aims to analyze the potential of wind generation in the state of Bahia based on information about the behavior of the wind in the region and in existing ventures. Firstly, the technical aspects involved in the study of the feasibility of installing a wind farm are discussed, discussing the variables relevant to the subject and that influence, in a definitive way, the potential of the region. Next, the wind profiles of the region are analyzed with more in-depth discussions with respect to those points where the highest average annual velocities are observed. Finally, a case study is done through simulation via Matlab/Simulink, which seeks to evaluate the generation potential in the region of Guanambi, where a wind farm is already operating.
