ANÁLISE DO NÍVEL DE EDUCAÇÃO FINANCEIRA DE ESTUDANTES DE UM CURSO SUPERIOR NA ÁREA DE GESTÃO E NEGÓCIOS
A educação financeira é fundamental no desenvolvimento das competências necessárias para a formação das próximas gerações. Portanto, a presença de conceitos financeiros desde a vida escolar torna-se muito importante para a correta leitura da realidade, para o planejamento de vida, bem como para a realização individual e coletiva em nível pessoal e profissional. A Educação Financeira é compreendida como um tema transversal que dialoga com as diversas disciplinas dos cursos dos eixos de Gestão e Negócios e permite ao estudante entender que o equilíbrio financeiro é o motor para o sucesso profissional. Assim, cabe às instituições de ensino analisar se os seus cursos estão realmente formando profissionais financeiramente educados. A presente pesquisa visa contribuir para esta análise em uma instituição federal de ensino, ao investigar o nível de educação financeira dos estudantes de um curso superior na área de Gestão e Negócios. A pesquisa classifica-se como documental e survey. Foi analisado o Projeto Pedagógico do Curso e aplicado um questionário aos estudantes deste curso, investigando o seu nível de conhecimentos financeiros. Participaram da pesquisa 56 estudantes de um total de 121 matriculados. Os dados foram tratados por análise documental e estatística e apontam que a maioria dos estudantes deste curso superior adquiriu seus conhecimentos financeiros predominantemente por sua experiência de vida e pouco através do curso. Ainda assim, apresentam um bom nível de conhecimentos financeiros e mostram-se preocupados com aspectos como investimentos e poupança. Sugere-se ao curso a promoção de ações relacionadas à educação financeira de seus estudantes, como a revisão do projeto do curso, a realização de cursos de extensão e a inclusão da temática em eventos do curso.

Abstract:
Financial education is fundamental in the development of the necessary competencies for the formation of the next generations. Therefore, the presence of financial concepts since school life becomes very important for the correct reading of reality, for life planning, as well as for individual and collective realization on a personal and professional level. Financial Education is understood as a cross-cutting theme that dialogues with the various disciplines of the Management and Business courses and allows the student to understand that financial balance is the engine for professional success. Thus, it is up to educational institutions to analyze whether their courses are really training financially educated professionals. The present research aims to contribute to this analysis in a federal educational institution, by investigating the level of financial education of students in a higher education course in the Management and Business area. The research is classified as documentary and survey. The Pedagogical Project of the Course was analyzed and a questionnaire was applied to the students of this course, investigating their level of financial knowledge. 56 students from a total of 121 enrolled participated in the research. The data were treated by documentary and statistical analysis and point out that the majority of students in this higher education course acquired their financial knowledge predominantly through their life experience and little through the course. Even so, they have a good level of financial knowledge and are concerned with aspects such as investments and savings. It is suggested to the course the promotion of actions related to the financial education of its students, such as the review of the course design, the realization of extension courses and the inclusion of the theme in course events.
