ANÁLISE DO DESCARTE INADEQUADO DE RESÍDUOS DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL E DEMOLIÇÃO EM TERRENOS BALDIOS NO MUNICÍPIO DE ALAGOINHAS – BA
A maioria dos municípios brasileiros
carecem no que diz respeito a existência e
aplicabilidade de políticas públicas que ofereçam
uma gestão integrada dos resíduos sólidos
urbanos. Esta realidade foi acompanhada em
Alagoinhas – Bahia através de visitas em bairros
por nomes de Riacho do Mel, Alagoinhas IV,
Pirinel e Petrolar, nos quais foram identificados
pontos de descartes de resíduos sólidos em
terrenos baldios. Realizou-se o levantamento
das coordenadas geográficas, bem como os
registros fotográficos dos locais de descarte,
entre abril e julho de 2017. Dentre os resíduos,
os resíduos provenientes da construção civil
e demolição obtiveram maior índice, sendo
constatado que nesta cidade a disposição
desse tipo de resíduo está sendo feita de forma
incoerente com a legislação ambiental, além
de poder causar problemas não só para o meio
ambiente e para a estética paisagística, mas
também para a saúde da população.

Abstract:
The most Brazilian municipalities
lack the existence and applicability of public
policies that offer an integrated management
of municipal solid waste. This reality was
followed in Alagoinhas - Bahia through visits in
neighborhoods by Riacho do Mel, Alagoinhas
IV, Pirinel and Petrolar, in which solid waste
discards were identified in vacant lots. The
geographic coordinates were surveyed, as well as the photographic records of the
disposal sites, between April and July 2017. Among the residues, the residues from the
construction and demolition obtained a higher index, being found that in this city the
disposition of this type of waste is being done in an inconsistent way with environmental
legislation, in addition to being able to cause problems not only for the environment and
for the aesthetic landscape, but also for the health of the population.
