Abstract: Introduction: After the establishment of Health Policies, it becomes essential to apply mechanisms that make it possible to measure the impact and effectiveness of health actions through the monitoring and evaluation of indicators between municipalities. The goals and indicators established by pacts and health improvement programs are previously established, however, Brazil is marked by immense territoriality, generating social, cultural, regional and economic variation. Objective: To describe the socioeconomic and oral health indicators of the Legal Amazon Region. Methods: Ecological longitudinal study with population bases of socioeconomic and oral health indicators in the nine Federative Units that make up the Legal Amazon. Results: The 2000 and 2010 HDI present numerous variations between the Federative Units. For oral health indicators, the results showed important variations for the periods studied, both in the average between the Federative Units of the Legal Amazon and in the specific values of each variable. PIAB indicators 24 and 25 presented Maranhão as the state that stood out best in terms of the results achieved. Regarding the Pact for Health and COAP transition, the highest average achieved was in 2009, while the worst result was in 2012. The List of Guidelines obtained the lowest average in 2011 and the highest average result in 2015. Conclusion: Discrepancies were observed in the results of health indicators in the Legal Amazon, which did not show a permanent increase, highlighting the need for improvements and adjustments to the oral health services offered in the region.
