ANÁLISE DE SOFTWARES DE MODELAGEM DE ANTENAS PARA CURSOS TÉCNICOS E DE ENGENHARIA DE TELECOMUNICAÇÕES
A proposta deste artigo é realizar uma análise entre softwares de modelagem de antenas para
utilização nos cursos Técnicos e de Engenharia de Telecomunicações no Instituto Federal de Santa
Catarina. Os softwares analisados são: 4NEC2, MMANA-GAL e EZNEC, baseados na engine NEC e muito
difundidos na comunidade científica. Eles possuem várias ferramentas para projetar antenas que permitem
o aluno calcular, simular, analisar e observar diagramas gerados. Neste artigo é apresentado algumas
características e funcionamento desses softwares e relatado suas capacidades afim de auxiliar nas
disciplinas que envolvem projeto de antenas. Todos os softwares se mostram eficientes e intuitivos,
possibilitando a escolha entre eles sem prejuízo de cálculos e processamento diferentes entre si.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is accomplish an analysis between antenna modeling software for
use in Technical and Telecommunications Engineering courses at the Federal Institute of Santa
Catarina. The analyzed softwares are: 4NEC2, MMANA-GAL and EZNEC, based on the NEC engine and much
disseminated in the scientific community. They have several tools for designing antennas that allow
the student calculate, simulate, analyze and observe generated diagrams. This article presents some
characteristics and functioning of these software and reported their capabilities in order to assist in
disciplines that involve antenna design. All software is efficient and intuitive,
making it possible to choose between them without prejudice to different calculations and processing. -
