ANÁLISE DA PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA INTERNACIONAL SOBRE INFECÇÃO EM MULHERES QUE SOFRERAM ABORTO
Objetivo: analisar produções cientificas internacionais referente a infecções em mulheres que sofreram aborto. Métodos: pesquisa bibliométrica realizada na base de dados ISI Web of Knowledge/Web of Science. Termos de busca “Women”, “Infection” e “Abortion’’, exportados para software de análise bibliométrica HistCite™. Resultados: identificados 653 registros de publicação. Dentre os periódicos, nota-se 18 artigos que foram mais citados na Web of Science (global) e os mais citados no conjunto de artigos selecionados (local), em 1.687 periódicos distintos indexados à base em questão, escritos por 7.625 autores com vínculo em 2.305 instituições, localizadas em 122 países. Conclusão: A análise descritiva do conteúdo dos principais trabalhos demonstrou potencial na área e contribuições para prevenção e tratamento da infecção correlacionada ao aborto. A relação entre o Top 18 revelou ampla abordagem do tema e cofatores associados à infecção pelo aborto.

Abstract:
Objective: to analyze the scientific production international on infection in aborted women. Methods: a bibliometric survey was carried out in the ISI Web of Knowledge/Web of Science database, using the search terms “Women”, ‘’Infection” and “Abortion”, from the export of this data to the HistCite ™ bibliometric analysis software. Results: 653 publication records were identified and Among the journals, there are 18 articles that were most cited in the Web of Science (global) and those most cited in the selected articles (local) in 1,687 different journals indexed to the database in question, written by 7,625 authors who had links with 2,305 institutions, located in 122 countries. Conclusion: The descriptive analysis of the content of the main works showed potential for the development of the area and contributions to improve the prevention and treatment of abortion-related infection. The relationship between the ‘’Top 18’’, with the greatest impact in the international literature, revealed that the topic is widely and cofactors associated with infection for abortion.
