ANÁLISE DA OFERTA FORMATIVA DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DO PIAUÍ: ENTRE OS CURSOS E A DEMANDA DAS ATIVIDADESECONÔMICAS E ARRANJOS PRODUTIVOS
Examina-se a oferta formativa do Instituto Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica do Piauí – IFPI, no contexto do processo de expansão da entidade no estado do Piauí. Investiga-se a definição dos cursos ofertados, indagando sobre a adequação da oferta de cursos às diretrizes e objetivos a ela estabelecidos de promover desenvolvimento socioeconômico local, regional e nacional, e de ofertar formação e qualificação de cidadãos com vistas à atuação profissional nos diversos setores da economia. Efetua-se, segundo o ciclo de vida da política pública, a análise do processo de implementação, sondando as escolhas do implementador e a conformação institucional delas resultante, verificando se aquelas observaram as diretrizes e finalidades estabelecidas pelo formulador. Constatou-se que as escolhas realizadas vão em busca da baliza normativa e de intenções estabelecidas, contudo prescindem de critérios e informações qualificadas que possibilitem maior agudeza na eleição de cursos e escolha de prioridades.

Abstract:
It examines the training offer of the Federal Institute of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education of Piauí - IFPI, in the context of the expansion process of the entity in the state of Piauí. The definition of the courses offered is investigated, asking about the adequacy of the offer of courses to the guidelines and objectives established to it to promote local, regional and national socioeconomic development, and to offer training and qualification of citizens with a view to professional performance in the various sectors of the economy. According to the life cycle of public policy, the analysis of the implementation process is carried out, probing the choices of the implementer and the resulting institutional conformation, verifying whether they observed the guidelines and purposes established by the formulator. It was found that the choices made go in search of the normative goal and established intentions, however they do not need qualified criteria and information that allow greater sharpness in the election of courses and choice of priorities.
